ThePeopleAlchemist Edit: 30 days to a more powerful self-image – your writing gets better every day with every line you write – You Are A Writer Now

Write for Your Life Day 30 – Thank God I Am A Writer.

Today is the last day of the 30 days to a more powerful self-image journey – 30 days of affirmations to cultivate and practice self-belief and 30 days of practising some writing (at least for me with the daily blogging recording my journey).

So, “When can you start calling yourself a writer? (The Time is) Now” – quote from Chuck Sambuchino.

I am currently practising with Art & Soul Reloaded by Pam Grout, a  yearlong apprentice to summon the muses and reclaim the audacious,s and, most import, antly, creative side. In week 3, she says two critical points which relate to today’s affirmation perfectly:

  1. it’s OK to dream about painting or writing; nothing will ever change unless you sit down and work on a page.
  2. proclaim to the world you are an artist (in this case, a writer)
You are what you say you are.
The Muse cannot strike you and enlighten you if you only write once in a blue moon –
Consistency and Commitment are key. And the more you write, the better you get at it. Repeat after me then:
“I Am ……… and Thank God I Am A Writer, Thank God for that.
