Don’t Stop Biting Your Fingernails! Just Stop Biting One’ – Sonny Krasner.

The secret to success is moving forward, even if only one baby step at the time – is the lesson/practice session from week seven of  Art & Soul Reloaded‘, my virtual companion in re-claiming my bold, audacious creative side.

Tony Robbins says, ‘ Success leaves clue..’ and that is if someone else can do it ( whatever IT is for you), there is absolutely no reason why you can’t do it too.

As we are talking about unleashing creativity and something artistic, you might say: ‘ YEAH, right… How?’

Whatever your dream is (writing, painting, performing, etc.), you just need to start with one baby step.

Do you want to be a painter? Today decide what medium (watercolour, pastels, drawing) and go and buy the material you need – a start-up kit. Tomorrow is the first outline, and so on.

Just one step at a time – daily practice (just stop biting one). Every day it gets easier, and you build willpower.

The specific task from the book is to write a six worlds memoir. No more. No less

When asked to write a complete story in six words, Grout quotes that Ernest Hemingway replied: ‘ For Sale: baby shoes, never worn’.

So here I am with my six-word memoir:  ‘Always growing but first coffee, Always’.

What about you? What would your six words memoir be?
