Hello there, and welcome back to the countdown to Christmas Day 5, Be Your Best Christmas Self.

“Let us have music for Christmas…
Sound the trumpet of joy and rebirth;
Let each of us try, with a song in our hearts,
To bring peace to men on earth.”

– Mildred L. Jarrell.

Peace to men on earth. There are men, women, and children amid conflict and trying to escape conflict right now. A thought, prayer, or concrete physical help or donation wouldn’t go a miss …

Self-care tip:

Make yourself a chamomile latte. You can’t pour from an empty cup. And you can’t send peace if you don’t ‘feel’ peace inside. Make a chamomile latte ( I know it sounds weird, but it is nice); make a strong chamomile tea. Let it brew for a few minutes and while it is brewing, warm up some milk (whichever type of milk you use) and, if you like it sweet, add a bit of honey. Strain the tea ( if needed or just remove the bag), pour the milk and add some cinnamon on top for some festive spirit. Aaaah!

Enjoy, and you’re welcome!

See you tomorrow x
