“Externally, the Bible is a collection of inspired documents written by men of all kinds over hundreds of years of time. The documents are seldom originals but redactions of older fragments. This, however, does not affect the spiritual purpose of the Bible. History, biography and other poetic forms are mediums for the spiritual message. In some cases, what was never more than a parable was taken as a literal statement of fact.

The Truth turns out to be nothing less than the amazing but undeniable fact that the whole outer world is amenable to man’s thought. And he has dominion over it”.
