ThePeopleAlchemist Edit: #SmashYourCeiling, change starts from within – Business & Lifestyle Experimentation for #TheWomanAlchemist – Being a fully embodied woman
March is the month dedicated to reflecting on the contribution of women to history, culture and society. This year’s theme is “Women providing healing, promoting hope” to recognise women’s work in the care sector during the pandemic. Additionally, the theme is also to recognise how women of all cultures have provided healing and hope throughout history.
Although I am, of course, supportive of recognising women’s contribution to society and in general, I firmly believe we need to stop with these monthly “tributes” and the endless hashtags.
To clarify my stand, I will use a comment from Morgan Freeman in an interview about Black History Month. He said, “It is ridiculous. Are you going to limit my contribution to history to a month? Black History is American History”. And, when the interviewer asked, “How are we going to eliminate racism?” he replied, ” Stop talking about it! We are making it bigger”.
I feel the same about Women History Month and International Women’s Day. We haven’t got a month dedicated to men’s contribution, right? Why is that? Because it is continuously recognised. And so should women’s because history reflects all our contributions: men, women, black, white, Asian, Christian, Jew, straight, gay, binary, transgender. And so on.
I do however want to celebrate this month what makes women unique. Firstly, of course, we are equal in front of the law. Secondly, we have the right to equal opportunities to jobs, promotions, etc., and equal pay. But we are not the same. We embody the Sacred Feminine,
What does it mean to be a fully embodied woman?
The fully-embodied woman lives in conscious awareness of her
true nature. She’s a woman who brings the awareness of her spiritual nature back down into her body, relationships, and all of life.
Being an Embodied Feminine woman means:
- being open and surrendering to the energy/life force that moves us all
- allowing all the different energies, feelings, experiences, and phases of life to move through her naturally.
And experience the FULL expression of who she is, saying “Yes!” to life in its entirety (and living to the fullest!). The Embodied Feminine is comfortable in her body, sensuality, heart, emotions, mind, thoughts, spirit and soul. She EMBRACES ALL of herself, ready to live an awakened, alert, full-on life!
Do you recognise this Woman (Her Essence; Her Energy)? Does She sound like you? Is there any part of you that resonates with the Embodied Feminine above?
Are you a Fully-Embodied, Feminine Woman, too?
Yes. I thought so. So am I.
Welcome to this month’s celebration of being a fully embodied woman and see you tomorrow x
