ThePeopleAlchemist Edit: Be your best self – #SmashYourCeiling, change starts from within -Business & Lifestyle Experimentation for #TheWomanAlchemist
Act despite fear and be perfectly imperfect. Embrace imperfection, be friends with it and STILL be your Best Self.
Yes, that’s right, some more talk on the curse of perfectionism and embracing imperfection. Imperfectionism allows you to live outside the lines with endless possibilities and minimal self-judgment. Doing your best and playing full out. For that, you need to act.
ACT DESPITE FEAR
Do not hold back because of your (real or perceived) imperfections. They are part of what makes you who you are and unique. Acknowledge them and whatever fear you might have about them and find the courage to act. Remember, everyone else is equally as scared about their own imperfections and scared to appear imperfect. Plus, what you perceive as imperfections/weakness can appear as a virtue/strength to someone else.
Be uniquely you. The world needs individuals, not clones.
Embrace your imperfections with your fears and show up. Whatever it is, show up. With warts and all and be authentically you. I’m not saying go out there with your grey hairs and accept them without colouring them if you don’t want to. Or not to try to lose weight if you want to. Just do not let these things stop you from being, doing and having everything that you want to.
Just do not wait until you have “improved”. Perfection never comes, and you will wait forever … You have a unique contribution to make to the world. Get out there.
