ThePeopleAlchemist Edit: Be your best self – #SmashYourCeiling, change starts from within -Business & Lifestyle Experimentation for #TheWomanAlchemist
Welcome to Day 4 of talking a bit more about change and how to deal with it. We have been building resilience every day by focusing on what we can control and take ownership by being present and seeing change as an opportunity.
Another great tool to deal with change and build resilience is asking for help. Yes, that’s right.
“Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it. I do that everyday. asking for help isn’t a sign of weakness, it’s a sign of strenght. It shows you have the courage to admit when you don’t know something, and to learn something new” – Barak Obama
Human beings are social creatures who withstood adversity throughout the centuries by congregating together. The same is applicable today. Talk to family and friends. Find a support group. And if the change is work-related, use whatever EAP is in place (EAP stands for Employee Assistance Programme).
“The only mistake you can make is not asking for help” – Sandeep Jauhar
