ThePeopleAlchemist Edit: #SmashYourCeiling, change starts from within – Business & Lifestyle Experimentation for #TheWomanAlchemist  – BECOME A MENTOR

Hello again,

yesterday we talked about remembering we are not alone and that experiences are expanded and multiplied when shared. And so, we talked about becoming a cheerleader for other women. Because although hashtags like #womensupportingwomen, #womeninspiringwomen, etc. can be useful to highlight a cause/topic, it is much better to do something practical. Not a ‘virtual’ gesture, but help. Cheerlead on. If a female you know starts a business, don’t just say congratulations. Buy one of their products. Or recommend their service/s if you can not use it/them yourself.

The same can be said about becoming a mentor and making a real difference in someone’s life. Like a young person. Having someone who believes in you and sees potential and greatness when you yet can’t, and help you down the path is priceless. There are so many organisations that can help you to become a mentor/volunteer. In many cases, you do not even need specialist knowledge or experience ( you get training). You just need to commit a couple of hours a month and share your experience, offer advice and give them the confidence to achieve their goals. It is a very rewarding experience for you both. And certainly a great step towards becoming your Best Self.

Here are a few links to get you started (PS: make your own research and make sure you are comfortable with the organisation’s ethos, mission and reputation):

See you tomorrow x
