Hello everyone and welcome back!

Can you feel it?

Do you hear it?

Yes, that’s Christmas in the air.

Christmas is around the corner, and with so much still to be done, you may be feeling overwhelmed. Let me tell you this: It is normal, natural to be feeling this way.

We all want our celebrations to be perfect, and that want for perfection can lead to anxiety and even depression, if you let it.

You may still be waiting for your tree, you could still be busy with your first of nine batches of baking, or you may still be dreading a trip to the shops, mask and all, to stand in endless queues just for that last-minute gift.

On that note, be mindful of the psychology of Christmas shopping, which you can read about here.

And I get it, it’s a lot to take in.

But I also know that you got this!

So, breathe…

You’re a strong, powerful woman, and as long as you believe in yourself, I know you will be able to get through it.

Put something for you in your stocking

Internal belief is one thing, externally showing appreciation for yourself and your belief system is something else entirely.

However, both are dependent on you.

So, yes, while you are a strong, powerful woman at the top of her Christmas game, you should show some appreciation for yourself. You should be getting something for yourself from the shops during your shopping trip. You should bake a few extra cookies for yourself, just the way you like them. And when you’re decorating your tree, put a bauble up that you feel is just for you.

Often, I am told by powerful women that they don’t know what to get, or how to treat themselves, or what kind of love they must acknowledge, and my answer is always the same:

If you don’t know yourself, how can you expect anyone else to know you and to get gifting right?

Expressing love begins with self-love and self-appreciation, so take a moment to understand your love language and what you want in your stocking.

I promise you; your answer will surprise you.

Until next time x
