Hello everyone!

I am excited to announce that Gabrielle, my new book, is ready to be released, ready for the world. And ready for you!

Gabrielle has been in the works for months now. But to be truly honest, this story has been a part of me for as long as I can remember.

Perhaps in bits and pieces. But it was through the lockdown period that I finally did the work of putting it all together.

And yes, I know that this is a Be Your Best Self blog section and that we should leave the book and its promotion to the other pages on the website. But, the story of Gabrielle is that it is of specific relevance to being your best self.

As Gabrielle writes in her morning pages, she is flooded with vivid memories of the past and intense responses to the present. She re-examines her choices throughout her life.

A woman among men jockeying for power, Gabrielle is direct, unshakable, and has created a world for herself where she rules alone.

She has fought hard for her independence. Yet, she is in search of love and longs to be a housewife and taken care of.

The relationships with the men in her life were made up, as one makes up the better part of life through thoughts and perceptions, realisations subjectively made by the drama of self-created identities.

Gabrielle had so many external selves falling from her like leaves.

But the old self reflects in the mirror. Still there, unchanged, whilst the body and life had taken yet another form.

As she stands inside the lived moment, the “continuous present” of her life keeps intruding into her thoughts on this day in London.

Time is passing by relentless.

Can someone escape their self-identity?
