ThePeopleAlchemist Edit: #SmashYourCeiling, change starts from within – Business & Lifestyle Experimentation for #TheWomanAlchemist – In loving memory of Queen Elizabeth II
Hello there, this is a post in loving memory of Queen Elizabeth II.
There are no words to express how deeply saddened I feel today after the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
It was only Tuesday that she met her 15th Prime Minister. She looked frail but persisted in performing her duty as she had done all her life.
I know it sounds strange to feel the loss of a person that you never met, but The Queen was a constant figure in the life of the British people spanning over seven decades. She was a unifying and stabilising figure for the country. An example of fortitude and selfless service to her beloved country and citizen. Like many around the country, the Commonwealth, and the world, I am in shock.
However, I feel extremely grateful that I could call this remarkable, selfless woman my Queen. I hope she is now reunited with her beloved spouse.
Rest in Peace, Queen Elizabeth II, with your Philip and long live the King.
