What do you think of the perfectly curated reality showing on Instagram? The pictures you see are often carefully crafted, sometimes photoshopped or using some filter. I know that many think they create an impossible version of reality and body images that can be detrimental to young people’s mental and physical health or vulnerable adults, for that matter.

But I say, let’s all have our version of a perfect life.

INSTA PERFECT LIFE

What??? Laura, you have gone crazy now. How could you possibly say that you might say? After you have managed to sit down and lift your jaw back up, hear me out.

Advertisers, companies, celebrities etc., are all trying to sell you something and influence your purchase one way or another by showing you the “perfect life” they achieved using the products/services they are trying to sell you (obviously).

I say, influence yourself and create the perfect curated version of the life that you want to have. Your thoughts create and what you are doing is placebo yourself into believing what you want to see.

Your brain/subconscious job is to prove you right. Give it what you want to be proven right about. Think as if. Act as if. Look as if.

Create your insta-perfect life.
