ThePeopleAlchemist Edit:  Be your best self – #SmashYourCeiling, change starts from within -Business & Lifestyle Experimentation for #TheWomanAlchemist

Change is inevitable, progress is optional – but how do you deal with change?

Life = change. And whether the reason for the change is work, a move, a personal relationship, the way to cope with it remains the same. Sometimes it is known and predicted change, and sometimes it is sudden and unexpected, both positive or negative.

Moreover, trying to avoid change doesn’t help. Change will inevitably catch up with you at some point. But learning to cope will lower the risk of anxiety and depression. Because If you can’t, only a minor amount of stress can make you feel overwhelmed.

“THE SECRET OF CHANGE IS TO FOCUS ALL YOUR ENERGY, NOT ON FIGHTING THE OLD, BUT ON BUILDING THE NEW” – SOCRATES

It’s easy (and natural) to fixate on events over and over. But the reality is that we have no power over events or people in most cases. The critical thing to start with is to evaluate what control you have over a situation and take responsibility for it. Looking for opportunities to empower yourself and work towards what is possible, you’re less likely to feel stuck in difficult situations.

See you tomorrow with some more change talk x

Change starts from within; that’s why training your consciousness should be your Priority Numero 1 – a daily practice to silence your inner critic.
