To become our Best Self, we cannot ignore our mental health.
But what is Mental Health exactly? It is a mix of emotional, psychological and social well-being. And it impacts how we think, feel, and act. Some people call it “emotional health” or “well-being”. As important as good physical health. And it determines our ability to handle stress. Simply, it impacts how we relate to others and make choices. And it is essential throughout our life.
Clearly, many factors can contribute to mental health problems, including brain chemistry, trauma or abuse and family history.
