ThePeopleAlchemist Edit: #SmashYourCeiling, change starts from within – Business & Lifestyle Experimentation for #TheWomanAlchemist – More Motivation Talk

Hello there, and welcome back.

Today, we will dive a bit more into the concept of Motivation.

When talking about setting & achieving a new goal, people often mention Motivation as something that is going to get us going on this new path. And that’s great, of course — we all NEED an initial push to start us off.
However, that initial push won’t work once you reach an uphill slope. There are a lot of daily tasks, some of which suck, even if it’s working on something you love.

Motivation is a beautiful thing to use, and when it strikes, it gives us unusual powers of Focus and productivity. So do use it when it appears.
But Motivation is finite, and we can almost think of it as a separate being from ourselves that chooses when to visit. Change is hard most of the time
and that excitement wears off far faster than you can create any actual plan for executing that excitement.
And that’s when self-discipline comes in.

Humans are highly automated in their daily lives.
You can probably list a humongous amount things that you don’t even consciously think about in your daily patterns.

The human brain has a highly selective automation process geared from an evolutionary process. So if it’s still around, there must be an advantage to automating so much of our brain activity.
And tapping into those hardwires is precisely what self-discipline is all about.

But for that, you’ll need to tune in tomorrow for more motivation talk and self-discipline.

Au revoir x
