ThePeopleAlchemist Edit: NaNoWriMo – Be your best self – #SmashYourCeiling, change starts from within -Business & Lifestyle Experimentation for #TheWomanAlchemist
Hello everyone!
For those of you who don’t know what NaNoWriMo is, yet noticed it being used almost everywhere, then know that it is a shortened version of ‘National Novel Writing Month’.
November, in the UK, pays tribute to the power of the written word. It is about spurning on the next generation of writers to take up the pen and put it to paper – to create novels of your own.
It is a magical month where literature is given preference. Where we, as writers, embark on sharing tips and answering questions in the hopes that others will join our ranks.
As you know, I recently released my new novel, Gabrielle, and for me, the completion of that book reignited my passion for writing.
It is said that everyone has a story in them, just waiting to be told or written. It is up to us to choose whether to tell those stories or not. Sometimes, we aren’t ready to share them, but let me tell you something: That is fine.
You don’t have to write a novel because everyone else is writing one, you don’t have to share if you’re not yet ready to do so.
Remember that, like change, writing begins within. It starts from inside and builds slowly, but surely until you’re ready to let it out.
Too many writers have suffered from the itch to quickly release works, alas, to great disappointment and perceived failure.
Writing is a patient hobby, and slower still, as a career.
Of course, there are some authors like Stephen King who release book after book, but that is not a form of measurement, not for you or anyone else.
If, however, you are ready to begin your novel, there are various tips that I will share throughout NaNoWriMo. These tips have saved me a lot of back and forth – dealing with criticism is one of them.
Interested?
Stay tuned for more.
See you soon x
