ThePeopleAlchemist Edit: Be your best self – #SmashYourCeiling, change starts from within -Business & Lifestyle Experimentation for #TheWomanAlchemist
It’s Day 6 of 7 Day to Self-appreciation.
Remember the purpose of this challenge: moving from Self-acceptance to Self-appreciation – valuing you as you are, right now, irrespectively of achievements.
This is a (daily) practice that goes beyond this challenge.
SELF-DISCIPLINE IS SELF-LOVE
Self-discipline is willingly and willfully chose positive thoughts that do serve you. It is choosing to think, say and do what is in your best interest every day. Every time.
Even when you can’t be bothered. Let’s face it, sometimes these things are not the more comfortable, and we rather take the easier option. But these choices will help in achieving self-love in the long run.
How do you do that then?
You know the old saying: “How do you eat an elephant? In small chunks”.
That’s right. You start with small and manageable changes. Select the ones you wish to make based on the personal value they bring to you rather than to satisfy external demands.
Self-discipline is taking sage decisions that bring about long-term benefit to yourself, like peace to your mind and wellness, which, in the long run, make you proud of yourself.
So, do the right thing and choose yourself on Day 6 of 7 Day to Self-appreciation.
See you tomorrow x
