ThePeopleAlchemist Edit: #SmashYourCeiling, change starts from within – Business & Lifestyle Experimentation for #TheWomanAlchemist – Persist And change your thoughts
Hello again, and welcome back.
Yesterday I talked about persisting with your new thoughts ( about yourself in any particular subject you’d like to change) even though you do not believe them yet. It is normal. You are replacing old paradigms and assumptions and creating new ones.
Still, some of you are whining ( sorry, I can’t think of another word to use here) about being tired, purposely thinking new thoughts? You got to be kidding.
Do you mean you don’t think during the day?
PERSIST AND CHANGE YOUR THOUGHTS
Consciously or unconsciously, you are constantly thinking. You’re generally thinking about something from when you wake up until you close your eyes to sleep (and sometimes, long after that).
Would it surprise you that you have more than 6,000 thoughts per day?
According to a 2020 study, people typically have more than 6,000 thoughts per day. Six thousand.
The study used brain imaging scans on 184 participants to track when new thoughts began while participants were resting or watching a movie. Incidentally, they showed participants movies because transitions between events in movies trigger “thought worms,” or detectable patterns of brain activity — just like thoughts that emerge spontaneously.
Everything around you can create new thought patterns. Here we are talking about CHOOSING the new thought based on what SERVES you to have the life you want.
Isn’t that worth some effort? If you can’t be bothered, then sorry. All I can say is you don’t want it bad enough. Either your life/part of your life is not really that bad that you really want then change, or you are scared.
And if you want the change, then you need to apply yourself. Everything starts with you.
Persist, Do it anyway, and your world will change.
I’ll say again: you need consistency and self-discipline; there is no other way.
See you tomorrow x
