ThePeopleAlchemist Edit: A Beginners Guide Towards Resilience Transformation – Be your best self – #SmashYourCeiling, change starts from within -Business & Lifestyle Experimentation for #TheWomanAlchemist

Hello there and happy Friday!

A resilience transformation requires you to unlock, ignite and transform your life to a new level, but first, you need to unlock, ignite, and transform yourself.  And one of the decisions that you must make will be to build your way to your resilience transformation.

Resilience as a concept

Resilience can be improved, like any skill. But on its own, it is more than just a skill and it is described differently, depending on who you ask.

The 10 Components of a Resilience Transformation

There are a set of factors that paint a beginner’s guide for you to consider on your transformation journey. So, in the words of Julie Andrews, let’s start at the very beginning.

An optimistic person is more resilient and is able to stay positive about the future even in the face of impossible obstacles. Now that is true transformation!

Meaning or Purpose in Life

Have a specific purpose in your life, as this allows you to recover from failure and disappointments. Believing you have a purpose means you won’t give up in the face of tragedy or loss.

You will relieve stress and boost your self-efficacy when helping others. This is a key component for a successful journey to your resilience transformation.

Moral Compass

Build a strong moral compass and a reliable set of beliefs about right and wrong, as you will have an easier time bouncing back.

You are able to make light of serious situations (within reason) with a healthy sense of humour and this can be truly transformational.

Having a Role Model

Role models allow you to draw strength from them, turn to them for advice and imitate them. This is extremely beneficial for you to build your resilience transformation.

Strengthen your beliefs and pursue a cause that is bigger than you, this will help you to come out stronger and wiser.

Belief in this context is not limited to a religious sense but is also tied to the combination of your hope, optimism, and purpose.

Social Support

It’s common knowledge that social support is important. As for resilience, strong social support networks better equip you to bounce back from disappointment.

Facing Fear

Leave your comfort zone, confront your fears, and only then are you starting to overcome your challenges and experience growth and true transformation.

Training for your resilience transformation

There is always an opportunity to improve resilience through training and evaluating your areas of development is the best first step. Once this is done, you will have a better understanding of the areas that need additional training.

Now you’re on your way

Look around at every aspect of resilience, you’ll realise – THAT’S YOUR RESILIENCE CEILING.

Your ability to use the various components of resilience, and everything in it, reflects your own mental attitude toward yourself.

See you next week x
