ThePeopleAlchemist Edit: Be your best self – #SmashYourCeiling, change starts from within -Business & Lifestyle Experimentation for #TheWomanAlchemist
We are coming toward the end of April, my month of spiritual awakening, and nothing sums up this month like Rev. Ike quote, “Change your thoughts and change your life“.
I have been re-reading some of my favourites books to pursue my quest, both to engage my spirituality and as a spiritual practice:
- The Complete Works of Florence Shinn
- The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity by Catherine Ponder
- The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale
- Ask, and It is Given by Esther & Jerry Hicks
- E2 by Pam Grout
- Science of Living Study Guide by Rev. Ike
There is a constant amongst every one of the writers, and that is:
Change your thoughts and change your life
That is it. Change your thoughts. And change your life. You/we have absolute control. Change starts from within.
The book I’m reading right now is The Science of Living by Reverend Ike. I love how Rev. Ike puts concepts across so simply and practically.
“God is not a distant creature, far off in the sweet by and by.
God is within you.
He lives in you, through you and as you” – Rev. Ike
This is not though a book just for reading but for practising. Practising to discover the “power within you and learn how to use this power to be what you want to be, to do what you want to do and to have what you want to have“. To put how he said it: “Practice the practising”. And the truth about ourselves – the truth of who we are in God, and who God is in us— but more about this tomorrow.
You can find a condensed version of Rev. Ike’s book in “Thinkonomics (below), a step-by-step guide to achieving Love, Good Health, Success, and Money using his “Can’t fail” techniques of Self-Awareness, Visualisation, Affirmation, and Repetition”. Change your thoughts and change your life.
Change starts from within; that’s why training your consciousness should be your Priority Numero 1 – a daily practice to silence your inner critic.
