Whether or not you love the outdoors, you will have to admit that something magical about nature can capture certain emotions.
Being in nature has been proven to make you feel better. It increases self-esteem & decreases depression.

“I took a walk in the woods and came out taller than the trees.”

Henry David Thoreau

Going outside in the fresh air is good for us. It encourages physical activity, which gives us positive health benefits. Additionally, it can help develop a sense of ownership and understanding of what our bodies can do rather than what they look like. Hopefully helping us rejecting an unrealistic ideal set by the media. And we can then, in turn, appreciate our bodies more, leading to a more positive body image and higher self-esteem.

As the larger ecosystem becomes a bigger issue than waistlines and fashion, nature shifts attention away from self-interest and to more rounded aspects of well-being.

I personally love walking outside, especially bu the water. I really feel the difference in my mood on the days I’m just working in front of a laptop.

“Adopt the pace of nature. Her secret is patience”. Ralph Waldo Emerson

Try it today, even for 10 minutes: walk in nature. I’m sure you’ll feel better about yourself afterwards.

Let me know how it goes. See you tomorrow x

Change starts from within, that’s why training your consciousness should be your Priority Numero 1 – a daily practice to silence your inner critic.
