ThePeopleAlchemist Edit: #SmashYourCeiling, change starts from within – Business & Lifestyle Experimentation for #TheWomanAlchemist  – Who is making you happy

Hello again!

After counting your blessings, and bookending your day with positive happy thoughts today I want to address people. After all, having people around us magnifies our experiences and emotions. So, who is making you happy?

Start noticing the people around you and everything they do that please you, and make you happy. See HOW they contribute to your happiness (and, by default, how you can contribute to theirs). List people’s good points, even their jokes ( ok, not everyone is a stand-up comedian but at least they try).

And guess what? The more you notice them ( and thank them for what they have done, or praise and recognise them for it) the more they will do just that. People want to feel connected and loved. And appreciated. By showing your appreciation 1) you will make their day a better happier day ( isn’t that great to know?); 2) they will want to continue to make YOU happy (so they can feel the love and isn’t that good to know too?).

It is a boomerang. What you give out, comes back to you. Multiplied. In the evening then ( we talked about bookending e.g. end the day with positivity and happiness, remember?) you can remind yourself of what a great day you have had and how nice people ( at least some to start with) were to you.

And tomorrow will be even better.

Do you see? Happiness is a daily practice made by small but impactful choices and gestures that anybody can do. And so can you, right here and right now. The more you practice the better it becomes. It’s the never-ending cycle of life. Happiness is available to all.

See you tomorrow  x
