ThePeopleAlchemist Edit: #SmashYourCeiling, change starts from within – Business & Lifestyle Experimentation for #TheWomanAlchemist  – You are unique

Hello there,

Following your requests on the topic, yesterday we discussed turning bad habits/stopping something bad and, better still, turning them into positive ones. We started with moving from controlling every aspect and task in your life to delegation. Letting people contribute according to their best skills.

Today I want to talk about another thing that we should all be stopping ( yes, I include myself too): comparing ourselves to others.

Comparing ourselves and our achievements ( or lack of them – compare to others) only leads to stress, anxiety and sometimes resentment and jealousy.

The reality is we are all unique and special. There is no comparison, and there is no contest. The only person you ( and I) should be competing and comparing our results to is ourselves. Who we were yesterday compared to who we want to become. That’s it.

So, think about what makes you special instead. Or what do you want to be special about ( I’m referring here to re-creating your self-image/concept and becoming who you want to be)?

And then start cultivating and nurturing what makes you special. Celebrate your achievement. YOUR achievements e.g. what you wanted to accomplish, not compared to others. Also, practise your new persona’s habits ( if you are developing a new self-image). Again, based on who you want to be, not to compete with anyone else.

Live your life for yourself. for what brings you joy. Be who you want to be, regardless of anyone else’s actions or thoughts. That is freedom.

See you tomorrow x
