Growing your Self-appreciation require building it into your morning routine (and evening, and, and …).

We talked yesterday about how it takes a minimum of 21 days to start creating new neuropathways which become habits after 66 days. And lifestyle after 90 days. Self-discipline, and Self-Love, is continuously choosing to think, say and do what is in your best interest. Self-appreciation can become a habit and part of your lifestyle.

And you can do so with a powerful morning routine.




Building habits comes with the repetition of simple actions in a consistent context firstly via associative learning, then via automation and then embedding into the subconscious.

The two most important times in your day are just before you fall asleep (we’ll talk about evening routines tomorrow) and just after you wake up. This is when your mind is like a sponge, and you can absorb the most information.

Having a morning routine is a very powerful tool, and I’m sure you have seen and read tons of information on the subject from the most successful people in the world.

I have personally tried many. The reality is, there isn’t a one-size-fit-all-morning-routine.

However, there is out there a perfect morning routine. And it will make YOU happy and productive all day. Plus it will help you to accept and appreciate yourself more and more every day ( with the right practices).  But you just have to find out what it is – FOR you.

I have suggested (below) a video by Sunny Lenarduzzi talking about how her morning routine has helped her in being a successful entrepreneur (and millionaire). I like Sunny, her super positive attitude and how she built total positivity into her routine. What I particularly like about the video which really resonates with me is having the flexibility to adapt it to your life and your mood to build something that lasts.

And no, it’s not a contradiction with building a habit by repetition. The repetition here is the positivity and doing things – daily – that serve you and move you toward automated subconscious Self-acceptance.


And THAT is the real win.
