International Women’s day is here again, and the slogan this year is #ChooseToChallenge – “a challenged world is an alert world, and from challenge comes change”.

Each year we go around the same merry-go-round: new legislation, new pledges, new campaigns and there we go again. I am personally fed up that we still have to have “pledges”.

I say it is time to STOP giving power to external forces and let them control our lives.

STOP IT! I, for one, want to take control of my destiny.
